Description

The Digi-Clock unit is a 2.1-inch display module featuring a 4-digit 7-segment display, primarily designed for showing decimal numbers and functioning as a clock. Each digit on the display includes a decimal point, and the module is equipped with an extra wire for displaying colon-dots, enabling it to serve as a clock.

At its core, the Digi-Clock unit employs the TM1637 driver IC to control the display and ensure smooth communication with the connected microcontroller or system, using the I2C communication protocol. Additionally, an STM32F030 microcontroller is integrated for handling I2C communication.

The unit's I2C address can be customized via a 4-bit dip switch, allowing for the connection and individual addressing of multiple modules. This capability greatly eases the management and control of several display modules within a system. The display's red LED supports eight different brightness levels, offering versatility to ensure clear visibility across various environments and applications. Users can conveniently adjust the brightness to suit their specific needs.
